The Divine Providence of God deigned that our Indian Mission be reorganised into five Provinces in the year 2018. The Province “St. Joseph” of Western India was erected on June 03, 2018. The territorial jurisdiction of the Province extends to the States of Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. The seat of the Provincial is located at Angelore, Mangalore in the State of Karnataka.
The Province comprises of 25 communities.
The main apostolate carried out in the Province is Education through schools of various types, counselling centers and home for the aged. Thousands of little children and youth receive value based quality education imparted by the sisters especially in the remote areas. By using the Barolian method of the ‘Pedagogy of the heart’ we shape and mould the character of children in order to prepare them to be responsible adults and empowered citizens.
